ABOUT

Space Dragons: Book 2

The Cosmic Defenders are the supposed protectors of the galaxy, saving travellers from the void horrors that prowl the dark of space. Luxorian isn’t so sure of them; there aren’t that many void horrors these days, and there are an awful lot of Defenders. Their own siblings disappeared into their propagandistic ranks.

But now the Cosmic Defenders are sniffing around Lux and their crew, ‘inviting’ them to face interrogations that ask inane questions but seem loaded with threat. Lux and their crew have their own reasons to avoid the Defenders, but the Cosmic Defenders are on the hunt for so-called ‘deserters’ and are quite willing to step on a few tails to find one.

Lux doesn’t want trouble for themself or for their crew. But they don’t want to abandon anyone to power-hungry militants like the Defenders, either.

If Lux wants to help anyone on the Defenders’ bad side, they’ll need the support of their crew. The problem is: it doesn’t seem like they’ll get it.

Content warnings
Space Dragons: Luxorian’s Crew is largely a gentle book, but it does contain fantasy violence, monstrous creatures, creatures with many eyes and arms, and relationship trauma. Also: threat from a militaristic/police-like organisation, and mention of a transphobic organisation in a world that is queer and trans-normative.
